Custom Viewer Types

In the Relativity Review Interface, extensions can register custom viewer types. These viewer types may complement core viewer types. For example, they might provide additional viewer tab options in the core viewers, or they might entirely replace core viewer types in certain situations.

Common use cases for a custom viewer type include:

  • Support for file types that the core viewer types don't support by default.
  • Need for new functionality in the review experience.
  • Changes to how a document or file is visually rendered.

For more information, see Creating Viewer Types.
